Privacy Policy

1. Information on personal data processing
   1. Enertech AB, corporate ID 556060-2269, processes your personal data in connection with services for the monitoring and control of heating systems via the application CTC Connect + (“the Service"). We endeavour to protect your privacy and wish to provide you with information on how we process your personal data.
2. Data controller
   1. Enertech serves as the data controller for the processing of your personal data. Our contact details are Box 309, SE-341 26 Ljungby, Sweden and email: info@enertech.se
3. The purpose and legal basis for the processing
   1. The personal data Enertech collects and processes is your email address, your postcode and country, information from your Enertech heating system ("Heating System") - such as heat usage etc., serial number and MAC address of the CTC-internetbox connected to the Heating System, and the MAC address of the mobile phone on which the application is installed.
   2. We process your data in order to manage the customer relationship, present the energy consumption of your Heating System, provide you with support and service within the context of the customer relationship, and provide you with push notifications that are relevant to the Service, e.g. in the event of an alarm. The legal basis for this processing is the fulfilment of the agreement with you.
   3. Enertech uses technologies similar to cookies in order to provide certain features of the application. The information is stored in the form of a file containing encrypted login data and language selection. This information is used for automatic login and to remember your choice of language in the application. The information is saved until you logout. Enertech’s legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in making it as smooth as possible for you to use the Service, which, in our judgement, weighs heavier than your interest in not having your personal data processed while you are logged in. If you no longer wish Enertech to store and retrieve the information, you must close your account and uninstall the application.
   4. It is necessary for Enertech to process your personal data in order to fulfil the agreement with you. You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. If you choose not to provide your personal data, the result is that you cannot use the Service.
4. Who has access to your personal data?
   1. We disclose your personal data to IT vendors contracted by Enertech. You may choose to invite other actors to the Service, which will then have access to your personal data. Enertech does not disclose information to third parties without your consent.
   2. Third parties include other users in your household, other companies such as those carrying out repairs and installations, or other companies that provide servicing and support services related to the Service.
5. For how long do we store your personal data?
   1. Your personal data is retained only during the period when you use the Service. When you close your account, your data is automatically anonymised. Your personal data will be automatically deleted if the account has not been used within 3 months and there is no connection to a Heating System. If the Service is connected to a Heating System, deletion occurs after a year of inactivity in the Service.
6. The protection of your personal data
   1. You should always be able to feel safe when you provide us with your personal data. Enertech has therefore taken the security measures needed to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration and deletion.
7. Changes to the privacy policy
   1. Before any change to the processing of personal data, Enertech will notify you in a new privacy policy. If you do not agree to the change in the Terms, you are entitled to terminate the agreement with Enertech before the changed privacy policy enters into force. You terminate the agreement by selecting "Unregister Account" or the equivalent feature in the Service, or by contacting Enertech in another way.
8. Your rights
   1. Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request information regarding the personal data that is processed about you, and you have the right to request the rectification of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and request the restriction thereof, and you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. In accordance with current data protection legislation, you may also request that your personal data be provided to you in a structured, widely used and machine readable format, and that this data be transferred to another data controller (data portability). If you are not satisfied with our service, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority or other competent supervisory authority in accordance with the GDPR.
